Terms & conditions and Privacy Policy

Definitions:

Appointment: Group class start date & time
Consultation: Any session including group classes booked with Little Woofers
Owner: Any family member engaged in working with the dog
Little Woofers: The Registered business name

Terms & Conditions (Classes, Behaviour work & 1:1s)

Payment of your consultation/class fee implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions
All appointments must be paid in full 48 hours in advance of the starting time of group classes, or immediately for bookings made less than 48 hrs in advance;
1. Except where paying in cash on the day – which should be paid prior to commencement of the class
Cancellations
1. Cancellations made 48 hours (or less) prior to appointment will incur the full fee
2. Cancellations made 72 hours or less prior to appointment will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee;
3. Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to booking will not incur an additional fee, but the deposit will not be refunded.
Little Woofers reserves the right to cancel an appointment. Any appointment cancelled by Little Woofers will be rescheduled for a later date.
All credit must be used within 6 months of payment date
Refunds
1. No refunds will be given for any missed group classes. Missed classes may not be taken at a later date.
2. No fees will be refunded once classes have commenced
For the avoidance of doubt, a cancellation is defined as any appointment which cannot be made at the time, date and location stated when originally booked
If your dog has ever bitten a person/other animal, you must report this prior to your consultation.
If you are advised by us that a veterinary check is advisable it is your responsibility to ensure this is carried out.
Consultations will not be cancelled due to inclement weather. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions and wear appropriate footwear. In extreme weather conditions Little Woofers may cancel your session (even at short notice) if travel is unsafe. If this occurs your session will be re-scheduled.

Client Responsibility

By working with Little Woofers you agree to -
* fully engage with the process of working with your dog to the best of your ability and understand that any changes will involve commitment and consistency
* understand there is no 'quick fix' when working with behavioural issues
* not to use aversive tools (choke chains, anti-pull harnesses, spray collars, prong collars, e-collars, rattle cans, water sprays etc) while undertaking training
* be open and honest in providing information
* ask for clarification if anything which is explained in unclear
* have an open mind with regard to potential solutions, changes and strategies

Field Rental Specific T&C's

Welcome to our dog-friendly field! We're excited to provide a safe and enjoyable space for you and your Little Woofer. Before you start having fun, we kindly ask you to read and understand the following terms and conditions:

Field Usage:

The field is available for dog owners to use during the agreed-upon rental period.

Please ensure that your dog's behaviour is under control at all times to maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Keep the field clean by promptly picking up and properly disposing of your dog's waste. Dog waste stations are provided for your convenience.

Safety Guidelines:

All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and must not pose a risk to the health and safety of other dogs or individuals.

Dogs must be supervised by their owners or responsible handlers throughout the entire visit.

Any aggressive behaviour should be immediately addressed and appropriate measures taken to prevent harm to other dogs or individuals.

Parking:

Please ensure to park in the designated area (marked by cones) as access may be needed at anytime during the day.

Field Maintenance:

Help us maintain the field's cleanliness by leaving it in the same condition as you found it. Dispose of any litter or personal belongings properly.

If any damage occurs during your rental, please report it to us promptly - you may be held liable for any damages.

We reserve the right to temporarily close the field for maintenance or unforeseen circumstances - in this instance a refund will be given. Advanced notice will be given whenever possible.

Liability and Insurance:

The use of the field is at your own risk. We are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or loss/damage of personal property that may occur during your visit.

Bookings and Payments:

Bookings can be made through our designated reservation system or by contacting us directly. The charge we set is per dog.

Payment should be made in accordance with the agreed-upon terms. Your space is not held until full payment is made. Payment is non-refundable.

Cancellation:

If you need to cancel your booking, please provide us with reasonable notice.

Code of Conduct:

Treat other dog owners and visitors with respect and kindness.

Follow any additional guidelines or instructions provided by our staff for the safety and enjoyment of all users.

By using our field, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. We want you and your Little Woofers to have a fantastic time while keeping the environment safe and enjoyable for everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Disclaimer

Owners are to understand that modifying behaviour poses a risk of injury. You are to ensure that necessary steps are taken at all times to prevent injury, including avoidance of situations that might trigger an aggressive behaviour. Owners agree to indemnify and hold unaccountable Little Woofers against any and all losses, liabilities, judgments and costs (including legal fees and expenses) arising out of, or related to, any claim of injury to persons or property of any kind, whether before, during or after the consultation and when implementing suggested techniques with your dog.

Digital Media
Photographs, video or digital recordings are taken of dogs in training for, among other things, use in advertising by Little Woofers. You (the client) acknowledge that all such images are the property of Little Woofers and give consent, without compensation, to use, reproduce, and alter the images, in print and electronic format (including the internet), either alone or in combination with other texts and graphics.

If you have selected ‘no’ in the question on the booking form related to consent for use of imagery – that selection will supersede the above paragraph and no photos will be taken.

Little Woofers is committed to ensuring the protection of personal information collected in the conduct of its business. Our privacy policy is designed to inform our clients and others who deal with us, about how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information.

What is personal information and how do we collect it?

Little Woofers collects personal information about our clients to provide dog training services. The types of personal information we collect may be contact details or may include further information to enable us to develop a training plan for your dog.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

· Name

· Information including email address

· Demographic information such as postcode

· Other information relevant to supporting you while providing training services

What we do with the information we gather

We require the above information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service and for the following reasons:

· Internal record keeping.

· To improve our products and services.

· We may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or mail. We may use the information to customise the website or Facebook group according to your interests.

Disclosure of personal information

Little Woofers will not disclose, share, sell or rent any personal information we hold about you. Where Little Woofers have outsourced a function or activity to an external service provider, we will only disclose personal information that the service provider needs to undertake that function or activity. We will require external service providers to enter into confidentiality agreements, prohibiting them from using or disclosing personal information, for any purpose other than to carry out the function or activity for which they are engaged.

The quality, accuracy and correction of personal information we hold

Protecting personal information is a priority and Little Woofers always considers security and confidentiality when handling personal information. It is important that the information we maintain and use is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If at any time your personal details change, please let us know so we can update our records.

We respect your right to access personal information Little Woofers hold about you. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the GDPR Regulations If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect, please follow the contact details in the further information section.

Data security

Little Woofers is committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Little Woofers takes reasonable steps to protect all personal information we hold, from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. All data and laptops are kept securely and laptops are password protected. We will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information when it is no longer needed.
